PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPEAKERS

  • The time available for each regular presentation is limited to 20 minutes, including a 5 minutes question period.
  • The time available for PhD student presentations is limited to 15 minutes, including a 3 minutes question period.
  • Session chairs will strictly enforce presentation times.
  • Presentations will be in English
  • Presentations should be prepared using Microsoft PowerPoint or PDF applications in 16:9 landscape formats. Please make sure that your presentation - including movies and fonts - will run correctly on a PC with Windows10 and Office 2016 installed.
  • Presentations should be provided on an USB drive for uploading on the conference computer. Choose a file name beginning with your last name (e.g. “Smith_lignosuberocutax.pptx”). Please contact media staff member in the conference room to upload your presentation – either in the morning before the programme starts (1st day speakers) or at the beginning of poster sessions, coffee or lunch breaks (2nd and 3rd day speakers).

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTERS

  • Poster must be prepared in English.
  • Each author will be provided one poster board. The available poster boards will fit a poster with a maximum of A0 portrait (84,1 cm width/ 118,9 cm length; 33.1 inch width/46.8 inch length).
  • The abstracts and poster boards will be numbered, so please be sure to place your poster on the board with your number listed in the program.
  • Posters can be mounted from Wednesday 28 August, from 08:30h and should be installed by the first coffee break at the latest.
  • Posters must be removed after the last coffee break /poster session on Thursday 29 August.
  • Poster sessions are held on the afternoons of Wednesday 28 August and Thursday 29 August.
  • Authors are expected to be present at their poster during the poster session.
