We, the Plant Cell Biology group at the Institute of Cellular and Molecular Botany, University of Bonn, are looking for a
PhD student (f/m/d)
The position will be open from 1st of June 2023 and is funded for a period of 3 years.
The project will be part of our work on analysing Ca2+ and hormone dependent signaling pathways involved in abiotic stress response.
We are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate with a Master’s degree in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry of related fields. Prior experience in the area of live cell imaging, RNAseq analyses and generally plant cell biology will be of advantage. We expect interest in experimental work, with a high motivation for independent research but also the ability and willingness to work in a team. Very good language skills in English are required.
We offer salary according to the German salary scale TV-L E13 (65%).

Student Assistants
We are looking for students as support for choice courses in the Master Plant Sciences in the Winter Semester [Students with a Bachelor] (f/m/d) for 3 weeks with 20-25 hours/week.
